Girls, you have your dress... but, does your date have his tux?
You found your dress in January, but prom is three weeks away and your date just asked you. Do you really think he has his tuxedo ordered? The answer is probably not... Take a look at these three tips that will help make the tuxedo process a little easier.
1. Vest and Tie Colors. Within our tuxedo companies, we have hundreds of vest and tie color combinations. You know the neon colors that seem impossible to find or the Mossy Oak camo your date is dying to wear? Well, we have those. Bring a swatch of the dress you are trying to match (or at least a picture) and we will find the best colors to match for a picture perfect evening.
2. Knowing the Lapels. The lapels are essentially the neckline on the tuxedo jacket. A shawl lapel tends to be a little more fashion-forward and is something we have seen on the red carpets. Traditionally, prom guys tend to wear notch lapels or peak lapels for a classic look.
3. Ordering Early. The earlier you order your tuxedo, the more likely it is that the tuxedo company will have exactly what you want in stock. Plus, it's just one less thing to have to worry about.
Similar to dresses, your date has many options as far as tuxedo style, designer, and colors. This year, RaeLynn's is offering $50 off all tuxedo rentals. No appointment is necessary.Take a look at more photos from our fashion show on the Indy Star.
