It's wedding season and we want to make sure you have guide on what to wear (and not wear) to these life-changing, momentous occasions!
1. Stand Out:
Choose an outfit that shows off your personal style and add some fun colors! You are only limited to two things, NO WHITE and DO NOT OUT DO THE BRIDE! Save the white for the bride and try not to wear a huge ball gown and you should be good. If you do choose a more neutral colored outfit, spice up your look with colorful eye-catching jewelry instead! After all, you never know if the bride and groom have any cute single cousins.
2. Wear fun accessories:
Accessories are the perfect way to pull your outfit together whether it is necklaces, bracelets, earrings, or even a fun headband. Headbands have been a hit this year since they are so versatile and can easily add some spice to your hair-do. You can also use your other accessories to add different colors to your outfit. You should never feel like you are limited to solid gold or silver, or that you can only choose from colors that are already in your outfit.
3. Play with patterns:
Summer patterns are the best! They are so colorful and fun that they are sure to brighten up any occasion, especially weddings! Patterns are a great way to play up your personal style! Play with patterns and add some solid jewelry and shoes and you’re sure to light up the dance floor all night long.
1. DON’T wear white:
Save that color for the bride, unless the dress code says otherwise! There are plenty other colors for you to choose from when picking out that perfect outfit.
2. DON’T be too scandalous:
Keep your crazy crop tops at home for this event, ladies. Normally the bride and groom invite their family to their weddings and they probably do not want grandma thinking that their closest friends are night-walkers…. You can still be cute and show a little skin without being scandalous.
3. DON’T wear uncomfortable shoes:
Every girl has those favorite pair of sky-high pumps that you break out once in a blue moon; an outside wedding is not the time. Grass and stilettos are not friends and will inevitably make you look like a baby deer regardless of how big of a pro you are in your shoes. Keep it at a comfortable wedge, flats, or even a cute sandal for those outdoor rituals.
