Today we're tackling one haunting topic-- HALLOWEEN! Halloween is some serious fun, but when you're scrambling for a cute costume for a last minute party... nothing is scarier ( we are not sorry for all the Halloween puns taking place)! Even worse? Going out and spending a fortune on some ridiculous costume you'll wear once and see a dozen other people in.
We here to help you break through the costume rut and share some super cute and fun ideas with pieces you already have or can buy and wear again and again!
This spooky skeleton comes courtesy of our smell the roses LBD and a whole. lot. of eyeliner. While this makeup look will take you a hot minute, it's by far one of the easiest looks on the books.
To execute this simple & spooky look-- just pair our dress with your fav black shoes. We've used our showstopper booties in black! To get your face looking skeletal just follow the same youtube video we did here--
Our sweet scarecrow look is just as easy as our skeleton and is just a less spooky option! Again, this outfit was made with pieces we are loving for fall (and some you may have already at home) and a little makeup ingenuity!
Let's be honest, if you're attending an outdoor Halloween party it's going to be cold. No one wants to spend the night freezing their buns off-- so here is a great, cozy look perfect for your festivities! Here, we've paired our Cuddle Weather turtle neck with our Bonfire Season tie flannel and paired those tops with our lightly distressed High Horse jeans. For the scarecrow makeup follow the same tutorial we did!
You know you love me....XOXO Gossip Girl! Option 3 doesn't require any crazy makeup and you get to wear our bestselling (and super cute) Cuteness Overload striped sweater dress. This look is easy breezy-- and super fun! This look is 110% Blair, but if you aren't feeling a wig it could totally be Serena or even early Little J!
For this costume do a light glam makeup look-- no tutorial needed! Pair our Cuteness Overload dress with our Striking Heels in black & XOXO headband in black as well! Bonus points for throwing in a pop of color handbag!
*Siri play Lizzo* Because let's be honest-- Lizzo brings our everybody's inner goddess and that's exactly what this costume is! A super simple costume with a sweater you'll love to wear again and again (seriously, our entire staff has it).
Pair our Olympia sweater with any bottoms you like! This sweater is flowy and very toga-like! To really pull this look together, we used a woven leaf headband we had around and followed this makeup tutorial!
We couldn't help but save our favorite look for last. This look incorporates our favorite boutique piece with our favorite makeup look turning you into the cutest kitten around!
Here, we've paired our Cozy cardigan with our Simply belt in black. We've put the cardigan over our Mia waffle knit, and topped off the look with some sparkly cat ears-- because there's no such thing as "too much." To finish off this look follow this makeup tutorial!
Thanks for tuning in to this week's blog post! We had so much fun creating these looks and hope they're helpful to you! Don't forget to shop our Halloween sale!
