Happy birthday Alison! 20 things you don't know about RaeLynn's owner.

20 things about ME I've learned in my 40 years…

  1. I still have never earned the runners “high” it seems like most of my friends are running marathons, triathlons or iron men…. And I’m still trying to accomplish my first mile.
  2. I do not understand how people can walk the whole grocery store, yet…cannot walk 10 more feet to put their cart away instead of taking up a parking space.
  3. I can’t stand people who honk..especially within 5 seconds of a light turning green.. I mean, pretty sure I have places to be too.
  4. I cannot imagine having a whole day off with no to-do. It would stress me out- I have an agenda and plan every day.
  5. “Keyboard Warriors”- Just need to remember when they blast you, they are just insecure –stay true to you.
  6. I hate driving—if it would not take away my freedom, I would have a driver, or take public transportation.
  7. Growing my hair..I just can’t do it—hits my shoulder..and it’s time to cut.
  8. Love to travel…hate to plan.
  9. Make-up and Hair are just not my thing.
  10. Somedays I still struggle with the “working mom guilt” however, I know I am doing the right thing for me and my family.
  11. The older I get, the more I understand the saying “never say never.”
  12. I do not understand “selfies”—sure I take them with my kids—but just not of myself.
  13. French Fries are my favorite food- and I will order a side of them no matter what restaurant I’m at.
  14. It saddens me that we are so quick to judge, and can’t respect others opinions if they differ from ours.
  15. I struggle with technology.
  16. I have a serious candy & chocolate addiction.
  17. I envy people who can sing and play instruments. I mean, most days I can’t even walk and chew gum at the same time.
  18. Social Media is a blessing and a curse- I love that I can share pics of my family with relatives all over the world, however, I feel like so many people are consumed with other peoples “perfect” lives…and we all know there is no such thing.
  19. Everyone should have to work a year in retail.
  20. Thankful for all my friends who support me and love me always. From growing up in Minnesota, College in Wisconsin, Nanning in Connecticut to my home in Indy the past 10 years.
