Today, we're diving right in! A while ago, we made a post detailing some options for all our high school readers who are missing out on their 2020 prom due to the COVID-19 school closings. As things are ever-evolving this is a follow-up post to discuss what updates we have for you!
The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, IN will be hosting Prom at the Palladium August 7 and 8. This event will include all of the traditional prom staples-- music and dancing, refreshments and more in lieu of the school-specific proms. The Center for the Performing Arts is hosting this event for all graduating, Indiana, High School Seniors. Those seniors need only pick a night and choose a friend to bring along for the ticket price of $10.
Tickets are required for the event and will go on sale July 6 and be purchased here. This will give all high school seniors an opportunity to attend their senior prom with all the traditional fanfare.
Attendance at these events is being limited to 400 students per night and both chaperones and security will be present. Additionally, student IDs will be checked during admission.
Don't miss out on this awesome opportunity to say goodbye to your high school career! Come let us help you pick your dream dress (if you haven't already shopped RaeLynn's) and celebrate the close of high school and beginning of college at this event!
If Carmel, IN is a little far for a one night trip, fear not! We have a few more tricks up our sleeve to help you out. DIY and at home proms are becoming more and more common and we're going to explain just how to pull it off!
Pick a Date! The summer between high school and college flys by and chances are you have a senior or two in your friend group and they are going to have orientations, family vacations, and the like to plan around. Make sure to pick a time where no one is left out.
Jason Aldean even got in on this trend when he and wife Brittany threw an at home prom for daughter Keeley. Check out their home-video for great inspo!
This spring certainly wasn't the norm, and summer is shaping up to be more of the same. BUT-- just because it hasn't gone down the way any of us may have planned or expected, it doesn't mean we can't make the best and have even more fun with the new routes! We hope that these ideas give you the opportunity to make up for opportunities you may otherwise miss, and as always we hope to see you in shopping soon!
XOXO,
RaeLynn's
